The piston stroke and speed are precisely controlled to ensure the stability and accuracy of the metering. It eliminates metering deviations due to fluctuations in the gas source or misadjustment of the gas flow. 

Servo pumps are best suited for applications that require the injection speed to be synchronized with other actions.
